Why Your Community Posts Might Be Flagged as Spam? - FriendOTech

With the rise of social media craze among Internet users, many social networking sites other than Facebook has evolved and one of them is Google Plus.

Google Plus is a try decent (but not a best) try by Google to compete with social media giants like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. Though Google Plus gained many fans in its initial stage, but as the day passed it became a social site less for a loyal user and more for a spammer.

No one likes spam and social media giants like Facebook are taking strict action against the spammers which was lacking in Google plus.

From last two or three weeks, I am observing something different in my Google Plus which is "Content Removal".

I have been sharing my posts on different communities two to three times, but since last two weeks they are removing it saying "It is spam". I think either their algorithm is not working fine or something wrong happened with this app. Have a look on this mail which I'd received from Google Plus team after submitting the same content to four different communities.

As you can see, they sent me mail saying "Your content....----=-==-". Now with this mail, they are also providing you the content identifier ID. Here's the mail:

At first, I thought that it's a community moderator who is removing my content from their community but after checking further, I came to know that it's their bots who are responsible for it. Let me clarify how!

We all know that Google Plus provides everyone a unique ID, using which we can visit the respective profile/ person.

As in the mail, the ID of the content identifier is:

When I searched for this ID in my web browser, it showed me this message which clearly shows that it's not any moderator, it's their bots.

Link That I searched in the browser!

Result I got after searching for the profile of identifier!

I appreciate their step towards the removal of spam content but they must make it sure if their bots are working in a proper way or not. It will have bad effect on many creators who shares their hard work on many Google Plus communities.

Facebook doesn't remove our content from groups if we share the same content on different groups then why Google does so?

Well, it is not true all the time but most of the time it's Google bots who are responsible for flagging your post as spam.

Sometimes your posts may be flagged as spam manually (i.e. by community moderator) but most of the time it's their bots.

YouTube is everyone's favorite. So why don't you try this new app available for Android which let you enjoy all your favorite channels on the go!

Share it with your friends and let them know about this issue on Google plus.
