WHAT IS SCREEN BURN IN? HOW TO RESOLVE IT?

We all use phones. Some use simple multimedia phones while some use smartphones. We all are the components of the techno world and mobile phones are the essential part of it. In the same way, mobile phones also have essential parts, their display. You might be thinking that why I mentioned display here! Lets go through it.

DISPLAY:

Display is considered as the most essential part of any mobile phones. There are several types of display present in the market today. They evolved too many times since their birth. TFT, IPS LCD, OLED, AMOLED, SUPER AMOLED are some of the displays. TFT, LCD are the types of displays in which light or cathode tube is used to display the picture, but OLED, AMOLED and SUPER AMOLED have different cases. OLED, AMOLED, SUPER AMOLED use their pixels to display the photos or videos on the screen. After many years of usage screen starts to fade out their colors. While TFT, LCD fade out their colors after 8-10 years, on the other hand OLED, AMOLED, SUPER AMOLED fade out in less time than LCD or TFT. In LCD, panels start to die, depending on the factors like temperature and usage of mobile phones, while in OLED, the LEDs which is present in the form of pixels start to dim their colors. We can't resolve LCD panels but we can resolve the problems on OLED panels. This problems in OLED panels is known as screen burn. Lets see how to fix!

HOW TO RESOLVE IT?

We all know that OLED panels use LED in their pixels to provide us a rich, vivid and crispy picture quality. When picture requires black colors, it simply turns off. But those pixels which are emitting up lights continuously, suffers a bit more.
Sample photo for AMOLED

Here in the above photo you can observe the deep black color in the sky and in background (if you are AMOLED screen). Now if we set this photo as our wallpaper, then the pixels which are offering orange, sky blue colors will continue their action unless we change the wallpaper. But the pixels which is turned off (pixels which are offering black colors), will not suffer any loss in their usage and thus they will continue to offer us the rich light for longer days than the other pixels. So here we come to the first solution to resolve this issue is- CHANGE THE WALLPAPER CONTINUOUSLY.pixel burn in issueHere in this picture we can easily observe the color fade out of pixels in AMOLED screen.

Let us take an example, if we use simple LED bulb, it lasts too long. But if we use that bulb regularly or leave it switch on with very high voltage, I'm sure it will get damaged. Exactly the same happens with OLED pixels light, if we use it continuously at its higher brightness, then it will also not last long. So from here we can conclude our second solution, that DO NOT KEEP AMOLED SCREEN BRIGHTNESS AT ITS MAXIMUM FOR LONG TIME.

Now coming to third solution, DO NOT KEEP SAME COLOR ON ALWAYS ON DISPLAY. CHANGE IT TO BLUE, GREEN, WHITE CONTINUOUSLY. To get rid of this kind of problem, Samsung introduced new function to their ALWAYS ON DISPLAY features. The widgets which display time, date and day on the lock screen as a screensaver, will continue to change its position after every fixed interval of time. This will help the screen to last for long periods of time.
So these are small stuffs you can do, to save your AMOLED screen from burn in problem. These will definitely fix this issue for some times.

Hope it helps!
Be updated for the curiosity!!..
Good Bye... Cheers!!!
